I'm glad they are all gone. Kalinin, Fiddler, Josefson and Blandisi are an immense upgrade over playing time for Tootoo, Ruut, Gio and Farnham.

They just put Holland on waivers, and I believe they will trade one of their older pending UFA for a pending UFA backup. Michalek for Pavelev type trade.

The true goon is definitely on its way out, basically extinct already. Good for the game without a doubt, bad for my viewing entertainment I truly hate seeing players get hurt on dirty plays, but at the same time I do love a good goon show every now and then. Glad to see the Devils filling their roster with the right type of player moving forward

Yeah I mean the only fight I can think of off the top of my head from last year was Henrique vs. Toews. I'd much rather watch a spontaneous fight like that over two knuckle scrapers punch each other's heads in.

Yeah I mean the only fight I can think of off the top of my head from last year was Henrique vs. Toews. I'd much rather watch a spontaneous fight like that over two knuckle scrapers punch each other's heads in.

It was certainly a lot of fun having Bobby on the team and I wish him the best of luck with the Habs. Not sure if Shero plans to have Luke Gazdic in the NHL or AHL but he would seem to make Farnham totally unnecessary.
